Wishful Visions has supported the Group Corporate Affairs team at Lloyds Banking Group on a variety of communication projects, ranging from supporting large scale internal events to co-ordinating business process integration projects. Precise were introduced to Karen during her tenure at Lloyds Banking Group and worked closely with her to help deliver a complex and innovative service offering, specifically designed to meet the organisation's needs. The initiative required new technology, policy and process to be introduced and Karen was at the heart of every aspect of this, from detailed requirement specification, solution design through to delivery and acceptance.
I found Karen to be an extremely focused, hard working professional, possessing a breadth and depth of skills that were highly valued by Precise and Lloyds Banking Group alike. Karen has that rare ability to manage large scale, complex projects through their entire lifecycle to a very high and consistent standard. Karen is always willing to put the extra effort in to ensure that all parties are on track and on side. Karen is particularly adept at managing ever changing requirements effectively. I just want to thank you for the opportunities you've given me with this project, for trusting me, allowing me to blossom! I think I've developed more in this project professionally than I have the entire time here, a large part of that's been down to you. I've learnt so much from you, you're an incredible project manager! It's really helped me discover so much of my own potential. Thank you so much for your tireless effort, support and leadership. It's been a heck of a ride! I know there's still a way to go, but I'm so proud of what we've achieved. :)

After 12 months we have concluded the harmonisation of terms and conditions across Lloyds Banking Group. This project was a major integration milestone for the new Group and the largest project of its kind in the UK. This is a major achievement and I wanted to thank you for the part you played in this milestone. Looking back over the last 12 months you have made a significant contribution including our "One Bank" brochure, dedicated intranet site with on-line tool and production of supporting briefing information for line managers. Our suite of communications was clear and professional and has been recognised as outstanding within our business. The Group Executive Committee and our project sponsor, Group HR Director, are very pleased with the significant progress we have made in delivering this major milestone in our integration programme. Thank you again for your hard work and commitment.

Karen came into LBG to deliver a key communication from the Directors to all our staff and those from the company we had acquired-the first ever as the new business. Karen delivered an excellent printed and online brochure, translated and delivered in special needs formats; which was enthusiastically received by all. She worked effectively across the organisation to understand the strategy and key principles and communicate sensitively, in a language that was relevant at all levels. She managed the project in tight timescales and under difficult circumstances; delivering great quality, on budget, across the globe on the day of launch.

We asked Karen then to manage the first Leadership Meeting for the new business. She delivered the whole project superbly, working efficiently with our agencies. We received excellent feedback from all our Directors and the business leaders who attended. Karen has excellent project management skills and will muck in to do whatever is needed to deliver to the high standards expected. She works well at all levels, independently and as part of a growing team. It was a pleasure to work with her and I look forward to working with her on future projects.

We worked with Karen on an extremely confidential and sensitive results film where she was co-ordinating a number of different complex elements. She demonstrates real clarity of thinking even when the pressure levels rise to intolerable levels and ensures that everyone remains focused on the key objectives and the delivery timetable. It was a pleasure to get to know Karen and work with her, even given the highly challenging nature of the project.

Karen was employed here for five and a half years as a permanent employee and a freelance Marketing Consultant. Karen worked in the set up of the marketing department and when she left was the Head of Experiential Marketing & Sponsorship. She also worked on secondment as Head of Marketing Projects. Karen is a dedicated and professional individual, her commitment and enthusiasm will be missed by the business and the marketing team and we wish her success in her future career.

Karen has been instrumental to the marketing success of ING Direct in the UK. She joined the team very early on, as the 'number 2' in Marketing. Her tasks ranged from field marketing to campaigns to competitive analysis. I have always been impressed by the 'can do' attitude and enormous workload she was able to take on. And she kept smiling all the time! A great colleague whom I can recommend to anyone in the need of an energetic generic marketer who can build from scratch!

Karen was employed in the Andersen Media Centre as Senior Media Account Manager to establish an internal account management team; to build a reputation for quality service, delivering campaigns with creative cut-through in the market - no small task. Karen's team was highly respected for their expertise and the added value they brought to communications plans, with over 200 projects successfully managed and delivered!

Karen is an enthusiastic and talented individual who not only understands the communication mix and how to use it to get results, but also has that rare quality of being able to quickly bring often non like-minded people together, to work as one team, to successfully meet objectives.

I worked for Karen in the Media Account Team. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Karen and having her as my manager - she is the best people manager I have had the pleasure to work with during my career. I feel that both on a personal level and from the Media Account team perspective, we most certainly benefited from having her - she works fairly and in the best interests of her team; she recognises people's strengths and weaknesses and tries to get the best out of people; she has a great sense of humour and is fun to work with.

Karen worked at McCann-Erickson, Windsor on an extended freelance contract. Karen was employed as a Senior Account Director, running projects on a portfolio of our clients. She carried out this role superbly, demonstrating the necessary skills and business acumen, liaising with senior client contacts. She managed the specific account teams and agency resources, working at a strategic level on integrated communications programmes.

Karen worked for HBA as a Senior Account Manager and then Account Director for 3 years from 1997 and always conducted herself in a thoroughly professional way. Karen worked hands on with our clients and helped instrumentally to develop the contacts. She worked principally on the Oce account and was extremely effective in her running of the account. She established a good working rapport with all of our clients and helped to build the business through her abilities to network and extend the working relationships.
